Microsoft Word Fail

Have you ever had one of those days where software that's supposed to be reliable fails on you? Working on a document today, I received this strange error:
The list of common French (France) AutoCorrections is not available. This feature is not currently installed. Would you like to install it now?
I simply clicked "no" and was on my way working again. When I clicked back to that window, the message came up again. I could not really find a whole lot on the internet, except for one fix that seemed to correct it.
Instead of digging through a pile of CDs to find the Word installation discs, this tip seemed to help:

- Select all using Ctrl + A (to select the entire document)
- Navigate to Tools > Language > Set Language > Check the language you prefer
- Select English (US)
- Click OK
