If you thought Lost couldn’t get anymore stranger, you were wrong. We now have new cast members and new stories. I’m not quite sure if we can consider them flashbacks or expositions to their character’s stories, or are we still in flashforward mode? The addition of a physicist, a paleontologist, a drunken pilot and a ghostbuster is definitely intriguing—especially because they are lead by Naomi, a character who was murdered at the end of season three.

Naomi seems to be apart of an organization, military in nature, that plans to infiltrate the island in search of something. She is working with the Creepy Black Guy That Growls at Hurley in the previous episode. The plot thickens!

Toward the end, we find out the mystery organization is looking for Ben Linus, the man responsible for the genocide of the Dharma Initiative.

My theories are expanding.

I now believe that the CBGTG, Creepy Black Guy That Growls, is apart of a sect of the Dharma Initiative—perhaps a military, or Special Forces division. Perhaps they are a completely distinct outfit entirely. Who knows! The story has definitely held my attention thus far, and quoting John Lock, my least favorite character, “What’s the black smoke monster?”
