The Hitachi UX21511 Enclosure at first glance is very similar to the Hitachi UX21513, UX21517, UX21518, and other Hitachi enclosures, but it’s different ;)
JVC D-ILA TVs have a serious flaw...and actually, they've always had this flaw: the lamp. Millions of consumers purchased (and continue to do so), JVC D-ILA Projection TVs because of the outstanding picture quality. Compared side by side to Samsung, Panasonic, Sony, and the rest of the gang...these D-ILA TVs look amazing. The specifications are the state of the art, cosmetically they are beautiful, and they are among some of the lightest "projection" TVs on the marketplace. But they have a week point--the lamp.

NORMAL DISCLAIMER:
— Do NOT purchase generic brand lamps such as LTI, APO or third-party manufacturers such as OSRAM. These lamps were NOT engineered with and for your TV…only your Philips lamp has been engineered to work flawlessly and output the best possible color. Above that, it just doesn’t make sense to choose an aftermarket lamp for a $5-$10 difference (and in many cases they are more expensive!!). Be a smart consumer and do your research! Discount-Merchant.com promises to be the low price leader in all Projection TV Lamps they carry…if this is not true, let us know and we’ll fix it!

How To Replace Your Original JVC Lamp

Replacing your JVC D-ILA Lamp is very simple. Only tools required:

Flathead screwdriver (remove your lamp enclosure)
Torx T-6 or comparable driver

That’s it!

The JVC LT-32X787 is a 32” (measured diagonally) high definition television using the LCD technology. The size of the set is one of the most popular sizes among all classes and this may well be due to the fact that most people want to replace their CRT TV’s which are around 27”. The set is priced at around $1200 which makes it sit at the midlevel for its range of sizes. JVC has done well to break the pattern of making the cabinets all black. The silver and black cabinet has been modestly styled. The cabinet is predominantly silver with the black part used around the screen.
