I must say that as a fellow left-handed golfer,
I enjoy watching Phil Mickelson swing.
Of course, I am trying to evaluate his swing in order to perhaps improve
my own. My swing is nowhere near as fluid nor can I emulate his play in any
other way other than also using men’s left-handed clubs.
In a victory for lefties everywhere (well sort of, he is right-handed with everything else), Phil Mickelson got the win at the beautiful Rivera Country Club over President’s Day Weekend. He had struggled a bit at the beginning but pulled out his first victory at the location.
Phil has been on the PGA tour golf since the 1990s and is a Southern California-born pro that was raised in Arizona. Wearing all black for the tournament, everyone seemed to take note of his choice of attire. The purse for his win over the weekend was a mere $1.116 million and puts him behind only Tiger Woods and Vijay Singh in earnings.
